THE SILK ROOM TROUPE

A Fantasy of colourful silk fans, plush fan feathers,

tightly-cinched corsets and sparkling crystals, our troupe combines classic strip tease “showgirlness” with vaudeville-esque entertainment to produce

high quality live burlesque and cabaret shows.

 

Inspired by the glamour and legends of the past, the liberating Neo-Burlesque of

the present and the city that made us, Shanghai, or,

“NeverNight” City (Búyèchéng 不夜城) which it was known as in the 30s.

According to a popular saying, Shanghai not only never sleeps but is also

the cultural sea into which all rivers run.
